Christopher Penland, founder of Your Best Life Vacations, LLC, brings nearly four decades of hospitality and travel experience, paired with a passion for helping others explore the world with ease and confidence. Since beginning his career in 1986, Christopher has built a strong foundation in customer service through roles in restaurants, hotels, catering leadership, and sales—learning firsthand what it takes to create truly memorable experiences.

A graduate of AB Tech in Asheville, North Carolina, with an AAS degree in Hospitality Management, Christopher combines education with real-world expertise. His career includes working with Carnival Corporation, supporting both Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line, as well as serving in sales and customer escalation roles with Expedia—giving him a behind-the-scenes understanding that most travelers never get.

With over 50 cruises sailed personally, Christopher doesn’t just sell travel—he lives it. He specializes in cruise vacations, LGBTQ+ travel, group travel, first-time cruisers, and multigenerational family trips, offering guidance that is both knowledgeable and relatable.
