About Rainbow Getaways
Why Rainbow Getaways?
At Rainbow Getaways, we understand that planning travel for the LGBTQ community (and our allies) can be super stressful. Members of our community not only have the standard overwhelm of making sure that all our i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed, but we also have an additional element of planning that is required. It is essential that we feel confident and comfortable to explore and enjoy the destinations that we visit.
When we plan vacations for members of our community (and our allies), we create magic. Working with us is often described as working with a friend who has the expertise and connections to the best travel suppliers and destinations.
Our Travel Research and Planning Fee includes thoroughly researching your destination choices to prepare you for travel, recommendations for accommodations (resorts, hotels, villas, and cruises), as well as activities (day and night) that are welcoming and accommodating to the community. We will provide you a fully customized itinerary based on your travel personality and vacation goals. In the meantime, you get to sit back and relax knowing that we are pulling together that is just as unique as you are.
Because that is what you deserve.

President & Senior Travel Advisor
I have had a passion for travel since my first summer road trip with my grandparents to see family in Las Vegas. We traveled across the country in a late 80's model station wagon, stopping at all the tourist traps along I-80 as we made our way from Omaha to the city that never sleeps. That's when I knew that the journey was just as important as the destination.
Fast forward a few decades to 2015, and I found myself with an opportunity to help others find the passion for travel. My attention to detail has helped my clients experience the awe of new destinations and the enjoyment of well-beaten paths.
Since 2015, I have helped countless travelers have the best possible trip, and was there to smooth things over when things went awry. My passion for travel is only overshadowed by my passion for inclusive experiences. I started Rainbow Getaways to ensure travelers could be themselves while traveling to rainbow-friendly destinations.
I am a Certified Travel Associate (CTA), having earned my designation from The Travel Institute, the oldest and most respected non-profit certification organization in the travel industry.
These credentials require that I have at least 18 months of travel industry work experience, completed rigorous certification and testing, and continue to fulfill stringent education credit requirements each year. Much like an accountant or a doctor with their respective credentials, my CTA designation means that I am committed to upholding the highest standards of my profession while providing expert advice to my travelers.
